Your HP Compaq HP 14-dq0xxx can be fitted with up to 2 x 16GB of DDR4 PC4-21300, 2666 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM sticks. I would go for the DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz RAM, which will "bridge" (down throttle) to 2666 MHz.
A very good and affordable 2x16GB dual-rank (2Rx8) RAM kit would be this purchase option.
