Hi,

I do not know why HP can not call you.

However, you can upgrade to max 16GB of DDR4 2400MHz RAM (2x8GB)

The RAM will run at 1866MHz. There are two slots and at the moment you have 1x2GB+1x4GB

You can purchase from your preferred brand such as Crucial, Samsung...

Example

https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/pavilion-15-cd008ur#MEMORYFilters

On page 42 of the service manual, you can see the steps to install the RAM

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05485598

You could also consider replacing the HDD with a 2.5" SSD which would give a noticeable everyday performance boost.

Hope it helps,

David
