Hello, my laptop is very slow and now I'm thinking to add an ssd.. but I am confuse in what ssd and from which company should i buy.. or whether it will be compatible with my laptop or not. I prefer WD Blue SN580 (500GB) nvme ssd.. I just want to know whether it is good for my laptop or not. Or should I buy other brand's ssd... I'm also confused in sn570 or sn580... Please reply ASAP.. thanks a lot..

According to your service manual (on page 2), your model supports M.2 NVMe SSDs.
Maintenance and Service Guide HP 15 Laptop PC
A WD Blue SN580 NVMe gen4 SSD will work but run at gen3 speeds, as your M.2 slot is gen3.
WD Blue SN570 is a gen3 NVMe SSD.
The WD is a reputable brand, and either a 500 GB SN570 or SN580 will work, if you are thinking of that capacity.
Page 42 shows the M.2 slot is located to the right of the battery.

The price difference is very small. You can choose a WD SN580.
This video may be of help for the M.2 NVMe SSD installation.

You need to remove the current hard drive for the W10 installation on a new M.2 SSD. The video doesn't show a hard drive. You can refer to the manual (pp45-46) for the hard drive removal. If you want to use the hard drive for data storage, you can reinstall it after the W10 installation.
You can install W10 in two ways,
You can install W10 with a recovery usb drive created with HP Cloud Recovery Tool. Your notebook appears to be around 5 years old, and I'm not sure if the recovery tool is still supported. Find out by typing your full product number at the link below. If it is supported, you'll see the download link to the cloud recovery tool.
This link shows how to use the recovery tool.

If the recovery tool is not supported, you need to create a W10 installation usb drive with Microsoft Media Creation Tool from this W10 download site. You need a min. 8 GB usb drive.
Connect the W10 installation usb drive to the notebook. Start the notebook and immediately tap the F9 key for the boot options menu. Select the usb drive and click the Enter key to start the installation process and follow on-screen instructions.
