Product: Hp pavilion dv6-1210sa
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I would like to upgrade the hdd in my laptop (hp entertainment pc dv6-1210sa) to an ssd and while i have it open i would also like to upgrade the ram, the stickers on the laptop have all fallen off or worn away so im unsure what ram i need (like ddr2 or ddr3) aswell as the max supported amount of ram for my laptop, thanks so much for any assistance you may give

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

 

According to chapter 1 of the manual, your notebook has two memory slots and can support up to 2 x 4 GB of DDR2-800 memory.

 

The cost of 4 GB DDR2 memory chips will most likely be very expensive unless you can find some in used but tested and working condition.
