I want to beable to perform certain tasks smoothly and I thought that the best way is to upgrade from my 6gb RAM (4gb,2gb).
However I need to know if I can?
How can I upgrade it?
and most importantly, Where can I find the right part, say 4gb RAM for starters, 8gb max?
I tried searching amazon and I think I have the right part but cant be sure, and last thing I want is to order wrong part.

@Jack413 , welcome to the forum.
Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the laptop. In Chapter 5, Removal and replacement procedures for Authorized Service Provider parts, Pages 32 and 33, it lists the compatible memory and gives instructions on replacing and installing it. It is worth noting that these instructions are in the section for authorized service providers parts. This means if the person is not fully familiar with working on laptops it is best to take it to a professional. Also, here is the memory that is recommended by Crucial Memory. Crucial makes very good products. There are only three major manufacturers of computer memory chips, Micron, Samsung and SK Hynix. Crucial Memory is the retail outlet for Micron. If you decide to go with Crucial's memory, it would be a good idea to contact their Tech Support to assure their memory will be compatible with the existing memory. While you are looking at the link for Crucial, it would be worthwhile to check the SSD's that are compatible. A SSD would increase system performance considerably. I will never have another computer, desktop or laptop, without a SSD boot drive.
You can check the existing memory for manufacturer and timing by installing CPU-Z. This information is in the tab titled "SPD".
