I am curious about where to purchase a replacement battery for my HP Pavilion 15-au063nr. Battery life is down to about 45 minutes. I am new to the HP site, but found no place that lists replacement parts. Or do I purchase that through some 3rd party. I would prefer to buy direct from HP.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05226670
It uses 2-cell, 41 Wh Li-ion battery part # 849909-855 which is N/A from HP
https://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=849909-855
Normally HP does not keep spare batteries due to some reasons including cost. You can buy from
https://www.newegg.com/p/16J-014W-005V0
Regards.
