Can anyone tell me where the CMOS battery is on an HP Envy x360 m Convertible model 15m bp111dx?

I have the bottom cover off exposing the mainboard, but I don't see the CMOS battery.  I'm getting a CMOS error and I'd like to replace the CR2032

Hi,

It does not have a CMOS battery. Most modern notebooks nop longer have them.

The little power needed is used from the internal main battery. Is the main battery still functioning well?

Hope it helps,

David

It doesn’t have one? That would explain why I can’t find it =0P.

Yes, the main battery seems to be working fine.  I’m getting a CMOS (502) error upon boot when the laptop sleeps.  Ive updated the bios and all drivers so resetting the CMOS was my next step..  Thank you for the info!
