My laptop model is HP Omen 17-db0011nw. I recently saw some warnings about hall sensor and was curious to know where it is located on my model series. Found a video of disassembly and it's still unclear to me.

Thank you, but this specific part I was looking for is on the motherboard tipycally near the back ports. It's like a ribbon cable that connects this whole lid close system. Correct if I'm wrong, but I've heard of a name "IR sensor"
