Its specs:
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05881901
It has 2 TB 5400 rpm SATA now. From page 2 of its manual, you can add M.2 SATA-3 SSD for your machine and keep the existing HDD.. For example https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/sata-ssd/ssd-860-evo-sata-3-m-2-2tb-mz-n6e2t0bw/
Regards.

Hi, @Jojoishere77
The 15-cc1xx model series is the only one in the 15-cc model series that supports M.2 NVMe SSD's.
NVMe SSDs have faster read/write speeds than SATA SSD's have.
See chapter 1, page 2 of the service manual for the supported drive types.
The info regarding the 15-cc6xx models supporting NVMe SSD's is incorrect.
Here is a post where someone installed a NVMe SSD in a 15-cc1xx notebook with successful results:

Hey benhien! this was helpful though i want to ask you 1 more thing that buying WD blue SN570 250GB or 500GB looks beneficial according to me as it is available at 2299INR and just adding more 280INR it gives me 500gb product. So i want to know will that be compatible for my laptop or not ? Seems value for money thing, so what is your take on this ?
Thankyou!!

Tossing the same question again because the technician is not sure whether the "WD Blue SN570 500GB SSD will fit perfectly in my laptop model HP pavilion 15cc 132tx or not ? (The "WD" claims
- Read speeds up to 3,500 MB/s2 (500GB – 1TB models), Sequential Write Performance: 1200MB/s )
So my exact doubt is that after installing this specific SSD in my laptop will that be able to give me the performance WD claims ?? Like will I get the same read/write speed or not ?(means upto 100,200 mb/s up or down is fine) but it should not fall around 500mb/s )
This two things are what WD has written under its product.
Slim M.2 2280 form factor..
Save on space with a single-sided M.2 2280 PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe SSD..

Hello ,
There is M.2(how many slots ?) slot right ? in my HP pavilion 15cc 132tx laptop. If yes , then will it support M.2 NVMe SSD or M.2 SATA SSD. So it supports both M.2 SATA/NVMe SSD or not ?. If I am going for WD blue SN570 500 GB NVMe SSD then It specifically has (PCIe 3) which i don't know genuinely what it is ? Will that have a support in my model ?Do the slot has PCIe lanes or not ? Please clear my doubts and reply with detailed explanation.
Also do suggest some of the best M.2 SATA SSDs compatible to this laptop model.(kindly mention WD's SSD and other to)
<<<Check Available PCIe Lanes: Confirm the number of PCIe lanes available for the M.2 slot. While the WD Blue SN570 offers high speeds, you may need the appropriate number of lanes to achieve those speeds.>>>(Google Answer)
Waiting for your quick and better response on it.
Thank you in advance.
