Hi,
It's not clear which pens are compatible with my device from the compatibility check webpage. What does the 'x' mean in the table? Compatible or not caompatible? Can anybody please tell me which pens are tested to be working with my laptop?
Thanks.

Hello @ChetanSriram,
The x's signify tested compatibility. The x* mean that the stylus and computer may be compatible but HP has not tested to confirm yet.
Therefore, it seems that these two models will work on your computer:
HP Active Pen (Synaptics) J4R51AA (CAN/ENG, APJ) SPS: 773175-001 | HP Pro Tablet Active Pen (Synaptics) K8P73AA SPS: 79eight_zero_five_one-001 | |

You can hit up a search engine with the model names and you should fine purchasing options in your country. And please ignore the words intertwined with the numbers in the SPS. The forum has these new weird restrictions where some numbers are prohibited.
Kind regards,
Eddy

Hi,
I bought HP Active Pen from HP Singapore online store. But it doesn't look like this. It looks like ...
I doesn't work with my laptop. Is there a way to use it or should I return it. How can two projucts have same name?
What should I do??
Thanks.

You must have a pen using Synaptics technology. There are other HP Active Pens that use different technology and will not work with your computer. @EddyK has given you the HP part numbers of the pens that should work - you need J4R51AA or K8P73AA.
