White light glowing on charging

I recenty purchased hp 16a0021tx on charging its light becomes white after orange even when its is not fully charged. Does it mean faulty battery ?? Or its any other problem

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:  

The battery charge LED will only illuminate if the battery is between 0 and 94% when power is applied.

In order to reduce the number of short charge cycles and extend the service life of the battery, the notebook is designed to initiate charge only when the battery capacity is below 95%. Therefore, even though an AC adapter is connected to the system, the battery will not charge if its capacity is 95% or greater.
