Hi,
sometime I do a checkup on the hp support page for changed drivers or bios versions.
So I have a bookmark for my HP probook 430 G5 in my browser and I have been using it for years now.
https://support.hp.com/de-de/drivers/selfservice/hp-probook-430-g5-notebook-pc/17047126
Last month everything was fine page asks for which OS I am running and since I updated to Windows 11 this was always my choice.
But today I found out that the support page is only offering Windows 10 as an option for support and drivers...the choice for Win11 was removed!
Is there a special reason for that - this notebook officially supports Windows 11.
Can anybody explain please?!
Thx

Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!
Yes, using the internet wayback machine link I can see that once upon a time HP made Windows 11 drivers/software available for your HP ProBook 430 G5 Notebook PC:
But apparently not any longer. Even the archived link refused to retrieve W11 information. I hope that an HP administrator will forward your request to someone who can get this option restored.
Kind Regards,

Pretty much, I'm afraid. You initiated this discussion thread, and my hope is that someone who can actually fix this issue (hint: HP Subject Matter Expert) will notice and do something about it...

Thx and I am absolutely not happy with it - same happened for the Probook 470 G5 which my brother owns.
I am not a fan of changing sources afterwards without explanantion for the reason.
That´s a nogo for me.
Thx for your help I appreciate your honesty and "case" closed.
If that HP strategy is getting common I will defintely check out another brand - reliability and keeping customers informed about changes is VERY important to me.
Have a good day and thx again.
