I own an HP ENVY 17-k200nt notebook with the following specifications: Intel Core i7-5500U 2.4 GHz, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSHD, 17.3-inch display, 4 GB graphics, Windows 10, current wi fi card is intel dual band wireless AC 3160, model 3160 hmw

Unfortunately, the existing Wi-Fi card in my laptop appears to be faulty and is no longer responding in any way. I have tried to find the same Wi-Fi card model on the market, but I have not been able to locate it.
Could you please advise me on which compatible Wi-Fi card models I can use as a replacement for this notebook? I would also appreciate your guidance on the correct method to follow before purchasing and installing a new Wi-Fi card
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Best regards,

Hi:

I would go with either one of these, whichever is easiest to find:

Broadcom BCM4352 802.11ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 combo   HP part # 724935-001

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 Combo Adapter   HP part #784650-005 or HP part # 710661-001

The cards have the same specs which would be twice the throughput of your notebook's current Intel 3160 AC Wi-Fi adapter.
