Hi there,
There's a gap forming between my screen and the screen's plastic frame. It's currently at the bottom-left of the screen (see image). This is my second 17-ds011dx laptop; the first one had the same problem.
1. Would squirting some krazyglue in the gap slow its spread rightward? Or would it damage (!) delicate little wires down there?
2. What am I doing wrong such that I've gotten these gaps on two laptops now? As far as I can tell, I open and close my laptop like a regular civilized guy.
Thanks fam

@blisterblast We don't recommend applying glue as such, instead, please let us know if there have been any accidents before this issue occurred?
And if not, how did the issue occur? please let us know.

Hi there,
Thanks.
No accidents that I can recall. It seems that the action of opening and closing the laptop wears away at the adhesive that connects the screen to the frame. Obviously, I need to keep opening and closing the laptop daily, but I'm worried that doing so will exacerbate the problem.
I'm trying to minimize it by opening the laptop slowly and, when doing so, pressing down on the part of the frame where the gap is forming, to prevent the gap from growing.
Are there other ways to prevent the gap from growing?
Now that you have more context, do you still not recommend glue? If not glue, what can I do?
Thanks!
