My notebook has two memory slots.
One is free; the other is 4GB DDR4-2400 Samsung Manufactured SODIMM.
I need extra 8GB memory and one of the Hp employees recommended me this memory model.
Here is the part number of the memory:
8 GB -------- 937236-855
I am trying to figure out whether this memory is tested on my notebook and is compatible with its motherboard.
Little help here! Thanks:)

Thanks for caring to help! @Huffer
I am dedicated to buy only one extra memory and keep the current memory in its slot.
So I wanted to know whether I get almost the same perfomance boost for 8GB & 4GB memory upgrade.
Or in other means,
since I want to add 8GB memory and it is not the same size as the original 4GB, will it not perform better than with the 4GB memory upgrade?
I need the 8GB memory upgrade if there is considerable performance difference than the 4GB upgrade.

Depends on what you do. If you edit video or compile code you need RAM to do that and the extra 4 gigs will be helpful. If you are a gamer or just want the computer to boot up a little faster and open apps a little quicker then just adding the other 4 gb module would be the best way to go.
