HP Laptop 15-Da0032wm (Notebook)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My notebook has two memory slots.

One is free; the other is 4GB DDR4-2400 Samsung Manufactured SODIMM.

I need extra 8GB memory and one of the Hp employees recommended me this memory model.

Here is the part number of the memory:

8 GB -------- 937236-855

I am trying to figure out whether this memory is tested on my notebook and is compatible with its motherboard.

Little help here! Thanks:)

Absolutely. I might suggest you either install a pair of 8 gb modules or just install a second 4 gb. The memory will run just a little faster if you install a pair of modules the same size.

Memory purchased from the above link will be compatible.

Thanks for caring to help! @Huffer

I am dedicated to buy only one extra memory and keep the current memory in its slot.

So I wanted to know whether I get almost the same perfomance boost for 8GB & 4GB memory upgrade.

Or in other means,

since I want to add 8GB memory and it is not the same size as the original 4GB, will it not perform better than with the 4GB memory upgrade?

I need the 8GB memory upgrade if there is considerable performance difference than the 4GB upgrade.

Depends on what you do. If you edit video or compile code you need RAM to do that and the extra 4 gigs will be helpful. If you are a gamer or just want the computer to boot up a little faster and open apps a little quicker then just adding the other 4 gb module would be the best way to go.

I primarily want it for gaming.

Did you mean extra 4GB can do it here? Or extra 8GB?

I didn't get your last point.

HP Recommended

For gaming you are best off with the matched pair 2 x 4 gigs for 8 total.

Thanks so much!

If you can, please drop me a link to new 4GB (L10598-855) memory buying site.

The Crucial link I gave above will work fine. Not sure where you can buy stuff shipped into Ethiopia.

Thanks @Huffer!

I will try to find ways.

If you are okay, please take a look at my other question about Display panel replacement!
