Hello I Upgraded to Windows 10 version 1909. Ever since I upgraded all my usb ports are not working. I cannot uninstall the update without resetting my pc. I don't want to do that because I literally have a terabyte of data on my computer. When I go into my device manager it says Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19).
It has to be the 1909 update because before the update the usb was working. So I'm wondering if the update corrupted the drivers or installed a new generic driver that is not compatible with the usb's.
I updated all my drivers to the latest. Windows update is also current. I have experience with the registry so i already have created a backup of the registry incase something goes wrong. I looked online and it said go into HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\36FC9E60-C465-11CF-8056-444553540000.
I went into the key and saw there are two keys below that.
I have uploaded pictures as well. If someone could help me out this would be very helpful.
Thanks.

@KGreave0 Welcome to HP Community!
As you have stated that the USB drivers worked fine with the previous version.
I would suggest you uninstall the windows update.
- Select the Start button, then select Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > View your update history > Uninstall updates.
- Right-click the update you want to remove, and then select Uninstall.
After uninstalling the windows update you have to update the USB drivers.
Note: Do not update the windows update after uninstalling the windows new update 1909.

This is why HP consumer product support is a joke.
Are you seriously saying NOT to use Windows 10-1909? For how long? Forever? Because from what I see above, "uninstall 1909, install your driver under 1903, and refuse attempts to go to 1909". What kind of advice is that??? On top of that, you want to be thanked for it???
HP has put themselves in a bind by hardcoding their Windows 10-1903 newest drivers to only support 1903 and not allow them to be installed under 1909. What a joke... "Well, for our drivers to work, install 1903, then drivers, then you can upgrade to 1909..."
At the very least, HP should offer an executable or Windows Service that tricks 1903 drivers into installing on 1909... We're waiting, HP...
