Product: HP Envy DV6
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi all,
I am trying to make a brand new installation of Windows 10 on a new Crucial MX500 SSD, on a HP Envy DV6 7301EL. I have a BIOS screenshot (below).
I have tested the SSD on another machine, and it works correctly. I have created a Windows 10 install DVD by using Microsoft's Media Creation Tool (version 2004).
When I run the Windows 10 installer, it gets up to the point where I would select a drive, and then it tells me that no drives are detected (the drive list is empty).
I have tried using both legacy and non-legacy mode.
What can I do?
