I was wanting to upgrade my 2015 HP Envy laptop with a newer one, but since I have no guarantee a new one will be Windows 11 compatible I guess i will put that idea to bed!  Thanks for your response.

Windows 11 has not been released and will not for several months at the earliest.  What is out now is a Beta and MS has not finalized the hardware requirements for Windows 11 at this time.  So, HP is not providing any information on what models are, or will be, Windows 11 compliant.
