Hi:

 

Unfortunately, chapter 3 of the service manual does not list any supported motherboards that come with Intel 8th gen core processors.

 

HP Pavilion x360 Convertible PC (model numbers: 13-s000 through 13-s099) Maintenance and Service Gui...

 

On all notebooks made in the last 5 - 6 years, you have to replace the motherboard to upgrade the processor.

 

It doesn't matter what company makes the notebook.  They are all the same.

replacing motherboard is the only option then. Thanks a lot for checking .

 

so it’s just a nice way of clearing my mind about any hopes left in me to run windows 11 in Hpx360.
