Windows 11 does not boot after adding new 8 GB DDR4 ram in hp pavilion gaming 15

I purchased HP Pavilion Gaming 15 ex0101ax in 2022. later in 2024, I wanted to upgrade RAM from 8 GB DDR4 to 16 GB. As in the laptop, HP provides 2 slots for RAM upgrades. I purchased a ddr4 RAM 2666mhz and installed it in a slot. but then my Windows 11 does not boot. When I press the turn-on switch. I can see the HP logo and under the logo, I can also see Loader. but after 2-3 seconds, the loader stops loading and it stays as it is. I waited hours but it did not go further. 
Then I did all the processes mentioned on the HP support website. what to do in this scenario. I have updated my bios too. but the issue is not fixed. 

Then I added another company's ddr4 ram 2666mhz and installed it, maybe the first one had an issue. but the same issue occurred.
When I removed new installed RAM then it booted fine. otherwise, it stops the boot process. At that time I could only see the HP logo with the loader but the loader stopped loading like it just stopped.
Then I installed Windows 11 again but the same problem again.

Find out exactly what the good 8gb memory is.  Run the following from the windows command prompt

wmic memorychip get devicelocator, capacity, speed, MemoryType, formfactor, partnumber, manufacturer

 For example:

Post the part number here 

Then take out the good memory and put the one you bought in the same ram socket.  If the system  boots then repeat the above test and post the part number.  If the system does not boot the new memory is not compatible.

Lemme know what you find.

I did not find that part# on aliexpress.  I read that HP purchased Kingston maybe that part number is unique to HP and will be difficult to find. 

I have never seen an "unknown" memory part number.  That is suspicious.  I am guessing the memory lacks the SPD coding to identify it properly.  Bring up the windows task manager, click on "performance" then "memory" (I have 63.7) and look at the bottom for "Available Memory"  You might have 16gb but I bet only 8 or less are available as windows does not trust the adata 8gb.

Can you download and run CPU-z and report what is shows for spd?

For example my memory in slot 1 is dual rank and the spd is recognized.

After your message I swapped memory slot and I found one Samsung 8gb ddr4 2400mhz refurbished memory and when I boot my laptop, first it goes to auto scan and it did some scanning and then when I typed above command in prompt. I can see part number for both memory. And in task manager now I am able to see 16gb total memory. Out of 16 gb 13.5 something is available to use.

I am glad you got it working.  The difference between the 16 and the 13.5 is memory allocated for graphics.  I was reading that windows 12 will required 16gb of memory and it due out this year.  I also read that there is no free upgrade from 10 or 11
