Chrome isn't going to work...only supported for W10/W11.

Try Firefox:

Firefox for Windows 64-bit

The standalone installer file is a small file.

Download to your W10 PC.  Copy the file to a USB flash drive.

Plug the flash drive into your HP 2000.

Copy the file to the W7 desktop

Run the file, and hopefully you will have a working Firefox browser.

I have zipped up and attached the W7 MS Edge standalone exe file so you can run the Edge installer as long as your Wi-Fi or ethernet lets you connect to the internet.

You're very welcome.

If you need to install the W7 Wi-Fi and ethernet drivers for your notebook, here are the links:

Wi-Fi:

MediaTek (Ralink) 802.11 b/g/n Wireless LAN Adapter Driver

Ethernet:

Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver

I wouldn't be able to help you with that problem.

ok let me know if you ever found a solution in order to fix EI 8 disabling network servers for modern apps

The only other thing I can think of that you can try would be to see if you can install IE11 using the standalone installer (2nd option).

You will probably have to download the file on your PC running W10, copy the file to a USB flash drive...probably what you did with the Edge file I attached earlier.

Internet Explorer - Microsoft Download Center

EI 8 cannot display modern website when EI 11 application said it is required in order to install EI 11. so like do i have to install it on my windows 10 disk or windows 11 disk drives first then transfer the application that is install to windows 7 disk?

IE8 is installed.

Wouldn't you just copy the IE11 exe file to the W7 desktop, and run it?

It should update IE8 to IE11

If that doesn't work, I'm out of ideas.
