Wireless-AC 9560 160MHz stopped working. Does my computer support a PCI like the AX200?

My AC 9650 stopped responding. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. I checked for driver updates, but it was up to date. I think I need a replacement and was wondering if I could use the AX200, or would I have to stick with the CNVio interface. If I have to stick with CNVio, would I have to stay with the AC 9560, or is there another wireless card I could upgrade to?

 I think it would be better to install the AX201 which has CNVio interface.

I’ve heard that the CNVio2 in the AX201 gives some computers issues since they run CNVio and not CNVio2. Do you think CNVio2 would run fine with my computer?

I think you might want to try this card, which is not a CRF (CNVi0) card. 

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part # L35282-005

You can find them on eBay.  Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.

My understanding is a non-CRF card should work in your notebook, but most CRF cards will not work in any notebooks that didn't originally come with one.

I think so, later versions are forward compatible with earlier versions. See here
