Wireless Mouse cursor not moving but clicking still works

HP Envy Rechargeable Mouse 500
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased a wireless mouse around 6 days ago and all of a sudden my mouse has decided to stop tracking but it can still click with both buttons. I have made sure it is fully charged and tried removing the usb transceiver from my laptop so it can set up again however the issue is still present. Any ideas on how to restore functionality or have I got a defective product 😕

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

Since you have already tried most of the troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue and as we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

And, also you can try updating the system software and drivers.
