Product: HP 2000-240CA Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

So I have my 2011 HP 2000-240CA Notebook PC and I lost the power adapter. I looked up on HP partsurefer for the part number to order a new one, but it said Part 609939-001 is no longer supplied. Please order the replacement, 693711-001. Now I looked it up online and I found both were available. So my question is, should I get the replacement model or play it safe and get the original? I'm just concerned that it won't fit/work.

Well, looks like you have to order 693711-001 since Part 609939-001 is no longer supplied. Please order the replacement, 693711-001 or try

I checked the list and my product was not there, although they suggested that part as the replacement for another that is no longer supplied. I was just wondering if I should should still order it or find the original on amazon.
