Pavilion x360

Hello,

My Pavilion x360 was just knocked off a kitchen table and the screen popped out. The screen was attempted to be placed back in (some corners still partially out), but the screen appears black now; the laptop as a whole still functions properly minus the screen. Is there a way to extract all files from the laptop or can the screen be fixed by being replaced or being put back in properly?

Thank you!

A warm welcome to HP forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

I believe you can connect the PC to a Monitor, Projector, or TV and transfer all the files to an external storage device. You may use the steps available here to connect the PC to a Monitor, Projector, or TV. In order to replace the screen, you have to call HP Support and setup a repair. You may use the steps below to contact HP Support:

1) Click on this link.

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.

6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi,

What is the complete model or product number of the notebook, so that we can take a look at how the screen is placed? Here is link to HP support page showing how to find it:

Let me know,
