HP ZBook x2 G4 Detachable Workstation

Hi all,

a very weird behaviour of the ZBook x2 G4 docked on a Thundebold Dock G2 and an attached ZR2740W:

When I reboot the ZBook with everything attached I get a BSOD indicating a driver problem.

When I disconnect the ZR2740W everything works ... when connecting I get the same BSOD.

When I disable the NVIDIA Quadro M620 plug in the monitor an enable thereafter the NVIDIA, everything works fine until the machine goes to sleep! Then I have (before waking up) to unplug the monitor (or the dock), disable the NVIDIA plug in the monitor/dock und enable NVIDIA in order not to get the BSOD.

So I removed all drivers (uninstall with "remove" of driver many times) of all devices related and reinstalled by Windows Update. No change! Initially this occured 1 year ago on Windows 10 (which was the reason to install Windows 11) ... but no change (it was working w/o any problems for 3+ years ... just shortly after the warranty).

How should I proceed with the mini-dump of the BSOD to analyze or is there a power-setting which has to be changed in order to solve the problem?

I tested the ZBook on an HP USB-C monitor and there was not a single problem.

ZBook is on P72 01.52, Dock is on 1.0.71.1 and I deinstalled the Secure Connect 91, W11 24H2

I'm doing the disable either by:
C:\Windows\System32\pnputil.exe /disable-device "PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_13B4&SUBSYS_824C103C&REV_A2\4&22165533&0&00E0"
or

Get-PnpDevice -Class Display -FriendlyName 'NVIDIA Quadro M620' | Disable-PnpDevice -Confirm:$false
