Product: HP ENVY Laptop PC 17t-cg100 CTO
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I just ordered an HP ENVY Laptop PC 17t-cg100 CTO with an SSD and HDD, I was told by the sales representative that I would have the option of adding a second hard drive but when I opened it up to upgrade the RAM and SSD I did not see where I could fit it. It might be possible to add it underneath the battery but I don't know where I would plug in the SATA cable, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Older 17" HP machines have two 2.5" SATA bays for 2 HDD's for dual storage options. I have not opened newer HP 17" machines but the manual says the series only has dual storage options, no provision for a 3rd drive because machines are now thinner with limited space.

 

Your finding could be true.
