Laptop - 14s-dq3. Want to add extra RAM to the existing 8Gig. How much can I add?

HP only has the service manual for the original 14s-dq0xxx model series available.

 

HP 14 inch Laptop PC 14-d3000 (2L0Z2AV) - Setup and User Guides | HP® Support

 

 

Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade information.

 

If your notebook has an Intel Core processor, it has two memory slots and can support 2 x 8 GB of DDR4-3200 memory.

 

If it has an Intel Celeron processor, you are probably at the max since there is only one memory slot.
