Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Suposedly access to the keyboard backlite feature is contained in the ADVANCE TAB in BIOS.  Advance tab is missing on HP notebook 15-DB1016CY.  Documentation states access to control timeout and ON/OFF feature are contained there.

What documentation? The existence of a mysterious hidden advanced BIOS in HP laptops is an urban myth I am afraid.

If it's a myth then how come mine doesn't exist?

Im trying to access the backlit keyboard feature which is suppose to exist in the Advance tab in BIOS.  I curently have to press F5 each time I turn on the laptop.  Would like to have it the feature permantly on so not to wear out F5.  Don't care if it timeouts after 30 seconds, just don't want to turn it on each time.    HP support says its done to save battery life, I'm always plugged in when at home.   ?????

There is no advanced tab in the BIOS. Myth is something some people believe or claim to exist but does not really. Never saw an always on keyboard backlight. On my own laptop I have to turn it on when I want it backlit.
