I need to know if the laptop I bought which did not have a backlit keyboard (HP probook 455 G10 15.6 Inch 725A0EA ) can support a replacement with a backlit keyboard and specifically the keyboard with the product number N39018-151.
My motherboard ID is 8B5C. Can my laptop get the replacement for the backlit keyboard? Do the appropriate pins in the motherboard exist to support the backlit keyboard replacement?

According to your service manual, your ProBook 455 G10 supports a backlit keyboard.
If you verify your notebook motherboard has a backlit power cable connector by removing the bottom cover of the notebook, the chances are good that a replacement backlit keyboard will work.
Page 58 of the manual shows the location of the backlit cable ZIF connector (#8).
See this HP disassembly video, which mentions the backlit cable connector at 23:03. Obviously, the model in the video doesn't have a backlit keyboard as the backlit cable connector is unpopulated.

I managed to remove the cover of the laptop. I believe the connector for the backlit is the circled one. Does that mean that when I get the keyboard replacement there will be an extra cable that will go in the circled slot and that will be the power cable for the backlit?
