Product: HP ENVY 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-cr0000 (538A1AV)

In removing the 5 torx screws on the base enclosure, the upper left corner screw (with computer face down, hinge side toward the top) will not budge. It does seem like a screw that should come out, because in carefully working around the case to remove the cover, it will not release in that area. I bought it "open box". Perhaps it got monkey'd with before my purchase, and got cross threaded. In any event, any pointers on getting the screw to turn to release the case?
