I have three cell battery but don't last more then an hour, does the two cell battery last longer? I thought the three cell battery would last longer. I have the brightness turn all the way down. 

 

How much ram can it hold and where can I buy the ram from HP?

The battery should last about 3-3.5 hours.  Use the PC Hardware Diagnostics or HP Support Assistant to run a test on the battery.  From your description, it does not have much service life left and should be replaced. 

 

The maximum memory supported depends on the configuration of your notebook. See the Maintenence & Support guide at the following link. See page 2

I found out the battery is a 4 cell. HP sending me a brand new one and I will get it on Friday.
