Hi @kafru
You do know that this is 2025, right?
From which vendor did you purchase the new, old stock laptop from?

i bought it from M.E.I Technologies in Egypt its still new though first opened by my hand i even got the updates from hp and microsoft yet i found out rgb is not supported by omen light studios dont know why and the battery is draining fast i also ran a hp battery check from the assistant, vitals check from omen gaming hub and i ran an internal battery test from the laptop diagnostics and device manager all gave normal good results which is confusing me more
i ran general tests on everything from the device manager too just to be on the safe side
i tested the lap by playing the first missions from AC valhalla, GoW, Middleearth shadow of war, and ghost of tsushima ultra mode in everything
i played around with adobe photoshop and aftereffects
everything went smoothe great experience i loved it
so main issue for me is the battery
secondary issue the rgb why the support removed and didnt resupport til now
and thank you dearly for volunteering and doing good deeds for others

Have you registered your laptop for the factory warranty?
Does the vendor give you a one year warranty?
I would initiate a warranty claim for the battery issue.
Run the Windows Battery-Report utility. I suggest that you read the knowledge base article I wrote to get a clearer picture of your battery and its actual condition.

Based on the battery report, likely age of the battery and comoaring design full storage capacity to actual capacity, the battery has issues.
I would replace a battery that is only useful for less than around an hour and thirty minutes.
