HP Envy 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-cw0000 (761Y9AV)

I always keep my laptop connected to the power, as it is almost always used at home, could this ruin the battery? Do you have advice?

Hi:

It is generally OK to leave your notebook plugged in most of the time.

However, I do not recommend that you leave it plugged in 24/7/365 because that will keep the battery at a constant 100% charge state which could lead to battery swelling.

See the HP guidance at the link below for how to get the most life from your notebook's battery.
