Product: HP Pavilion Notebook - 17-g015dx (ENERGY STAR)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

can I add a blue ray burner to this computer HP Pavilion Notebook - 17-g015dx (ENERGY STAR) if so what part number?

@blibecap, welcome to the forum.

 

According to HP Partsurfer the only optical drive available is a ODD SATA DVD SM 9.5 TL Natural Silver.  If it were me, I would buy a USB 2.0/3.0 Blu-ray drive.  They are small and easy to use and you don't have to open the laptop to install it.
