hi,i was wondering whether or not I can get a new graphics card for my hp elitebook 8570w. As i have an nvidia quadro k1000m. If so, what graphics cards can i get?

The series supports the following cards

 

  • NVIDIA Quadro K2000M (NVIDIA N14P-Q3 2GB DDR3) part # 690637-001
  • NVIDIA Quadro K1000M (NVIDIA N14P-Q1 2GB DDR3) part # 690638-001
  • AMD FirePro M4000 (Chelsea XT GL 1GB GDDR5) part # 690639-001

Higher than that you may need new PSU and heat sink. ...

I have 2 8570w. 1 for parts that has the K2000M (P/N:010176B00-600-G). The 2nd with the M4000. When I put the K2000M in the function laptop and power it on, it lights up for a few seconds then turns off. Any idea ? the screen is always blank.
