can i install a 2.5 inch hard disk into my HP Notebook - 14-an012nr or is it too big ? If it is too big are there other ways to increase the laptop's internal storage?

Its specs

The series does not support DUAL storage options but I believe it has physical room for a 2.5" HDD but you need following parts

 

  • Hard drive bracket 859126-001
  • Hard drive connector 815139-001

But what for ? It has a card reader, you can use SD card to store data, no need a 2.5" HDD
