hi i have a laptop HP pavilion 17 g128ds and i would like to know if i can upgrade the memory on it. or is the 8gb memory i have on it its the maximum memory upgrade .and if i can upgrade what kind of memory do i need to get to upgrade it

Yes your notebook only has one memory slot and the max the slot can support is 1 x 8 GB.

If you want to get more performance out of your notebook, you may want to consider replacing the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a better performing 2.5" solid state drive (SSD) if you have not done so already.
