i am trying to connect two monitors for work, but when i plug in an adapter to the udb c port, the second monitor says it isnt getting signal from the hdmi cord, is there a way to enable the usb c alt mode for hdmi signals, or can i use the regular usbs with the adapter to host a hdmi port?

@tachyonicSpace I went through the product specifications of your laptop and here's what I see under ports:
- 1 HDMI;
- 1 headphone/microphone combo;
- 1 RJ-45;
- 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Data transfer only);
- 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer Only)
This means, the USB ports do not support video conversion, and you can only connect one additional monitor via HDMI, the USB may or may not work using 3rd party adapters, however, HP doesn't support the use of the same.
