Can anyone help with the location of the cmos battery in my old Tower Pavilion a6585

Your system probably uses the BENICIA-GL8E motherboard

This video shows how to remove the battery. Be sure to unplug from wall, touch the power on button 2-3 times to discharge the internal capacitors, and touch the metal case with your finger before touching the motherboard.
