Today Dec 17, 2025 I Pressed windows command key and number 7 for mirroring to my Tv (It was working fine the other day) an HP window pops up to accept agreements (It would not move forward with the command unless I agree), I accepted the agreements and now it's telling me to download HP APP on my computer.  My computer does not have space for an HP app. My computer only holds 64 gigs and its full. Why is HP agreement restricting my computer use after accepting Hp agreement (Its preventing me to use my computer to the fullest)?

Hi @Screen321,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I'm here to help with issues related to HP products and services. It sounds like you're experiencing a problem with an HP software agreement that might be tied to driver updates or a specific HP app for screen mirroring. Let me offer some advice:

Identify the Software: Identify the specific HP software that required you to accept the agreement. Sometimes, HP support or maintenance apps like HP Support Assistant might prompt users for agreements when they detect updates or newly introduced features.

Check for Updates: Make sure your system and drivers are up to date. This can sometimes resolve compatibility issues. You can manually check for updates through the Official HP® Support without needing additional software.

Reduce Storage: Try cleaning up unnecessary files on your system to free up space. You can use tools such as Disk Cleanup on Windows to help remove temporary files and other unused data.

Check Default Settings: Make sure the settings for your external display or screen mirroring didn't revert to default upon accepting the new agreement. Verify your setup under the Windows settings and ensure everything is configured correctly for your TV.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
