hi dears

 

i want to buy ssd : Evo 860 1TB

 

my laptop is Hp pavilion p270ne

 

I want to know if it is compatible with my laptop?

Please guide my dear friends, because of the slowness of my laptop I tend to buy this SSD !

Yes here is the Service Manual:

You can replace the existing mechanical hard drive with a 2.5 inch SATA SSD such as the Samsung Evo 860.

 

There is also an M.2 "gumstick" SSD slot on the reverse side of the motherboard. Samsung also makes an 860 Evo in the 2280 M.2 form factor and you could install one of those on the slot found on the back of the motherboard.

I bought a m.2 ssd ( evo plus 970 nvme) , but BIOS didn't recognize it and I was financially lost!

 

If I buy 1 TB of evo 860 ssd won't the system have trouble identifying it?
