Hello.
I have a problem with the computer, when I put the charger inside the computer, a red light turns on and it starts charging..
Then this stops after a few minutes and a white light ignites as if charging is complete. A few minutes remain, and then the red lights return to complete charging..
This pause causes the computer to charge slowly.
Is there a solution to this?

Replaced battery?
Ever done a battery calibration? https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2268927-1713329-16
Please run the battery report and post the summery
you run the battery report by bringing up the administrator command windows "cmd" and running powercfg/batteryreport as shown below
After entering that explorer line you should see something like the following. (You will have to click on it as it is long)
https://stateson.net/docs/SP4_battery-report.html
You can use the WindowsKey + shift + S to copy and past a small image.
Look through the report for anything unusual. The battery should be HP branded and the plots should show discharging to a low value and then charging to higher value. ie: Not stuck at one level all the time.
