HP Notebook - 14-cf0014dx - trying to use a docking station for multiple displays.  It connects thru usb-c port.  Everything that is connected to docking station works (mouse/keyboard).  The displays are not getting any signal and my laptop does not recognize any external displays connected.  Is there something I can download/install so the video signal can be sent to the docking station / external monitors?

Hello

I guess that USB-C  port of this 14-cf0014dx is a Basic USB-C. it means that there is no DisplayPort Signal on that port.

So the only Docking station that could work must have a Graphics card included, such as a DisplayLink chip.

if your docking station needs a DisplayPort signal on the USB-C port of the notebook , and the notebook is not porviding that signal, you will never be able to use monitors connected to your docking.

if you docking includes a graphics card, in that case you need to  add the driver for that card.

so the question for you is: what kind of USB-C docking station are you connecting to the HP Notebook - 14-cf0014dx  ?

does the docking station has an Integrated Graphics card like a DisplayLink chip ?

bye
