cpu upgrade of HP Notebook - 14-ac037tu

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Is it possible to upgrade the cpu, ram and internal storage of HP Notebook - 14-ac037tu?

Here are the specs:

You have an extremely weak processor, 2 gigs of RAM and a very slow hard drive so I can see why you want to upgrade. 

 

Your Service manual

 

p. 37 shows the hard drive, p. 43 shows the memory.

 

You can have up to 8 gigs of RAM. It takes a single module so you have to toss the 2 gig module and install an 8 gig.

Processors are soldered on so not upgradeable without replacing the motherboard. Installing 8 gigs of RAM and a solid state drive would make a big difference but the processor is going to hold you back regardless. Technically the RAM and hard drive are not user serviceable but if you follow the manual and do not damage anything you should be OK.
