cracks on keyboard base on top right and top left corners

My laptop keyboard base is developing cracks on the top right and left corner. It has never fallen. First it started on the right and now i see a slight crack starting on the left as well. the crack is as if some screw has been tightened more than it was required. but i dont see screw either. please help, how can i prevent it from growing.
