I'm a bit leery as your specific model series is not specifically covered but 15-bcxxx in general is and I believe this is correct. It also only mentions 7th gen processors and yours is 6th gen. There is an M.2 slot compatible with SATA M.2 only.
Start on p. 34 for "how to"
RAm = green M.2 = red HDD = orange
Open the laptop and check for the slot BEFORE buying anything but I am fairly sure you will find an M.2 slot as pictured.
This is the type of SSD you can add to the existing hard drive in the slot circled in red in the picture:

actually the slot doesnt seem to be positioned as. it is shown in that drawing. below are pictures taken by another user with the same product:
it is between the battery and rams instead of being between the battery and cooler fans like seen in that drawing..
and yes you are Right; mine has i7 6700hq with 16 gb ram, gtx960m and 1 tb hdd. doest this look only a different positioning?
