I want to buy a docking station for the new HP ENVY 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-ch0000 (23T01AV)  to allow me to connect two monitors - EXTEND mode plus webcam and other peripherals

i have tried HP support - totally rubbish to be honest - put to the US chat - useless - then given 3 numbers - didn't work or were premium costs.

really not happy wishing i hadn't bought a HP ENVY 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-ch0000 (23T01AV)  now

Your machine should have following ports

• AC Smart Pin adapter plug
• HDMI v2.0a supporting: up to 4096 × 2160 @ 60 Hz with HDCP 2.2
• Audio-out (headphone)/audio-in (microphone) combo jack
• USB 4.0 Gen 3 Type C with Thunderbolt™ (left side)
• USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type A (supports HP Sleep & Charge; left side)
• USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A (2) (right side)

You should be able to daisy chain monitors using USB 4.0 port, no need to buy a dock. If you wish to use Thunderbolt™ port for other devices, you can use USB type A port   with one of following DisplayLink Certified adapters (you can select depending on what do you need).
