ok so I have an issue with driver updates. ive downloaded the support assistant and not had any luck with it. In fact it said there are no drivers available for my device. What can I do to resolve this issue

Hi:
HP does not support your notebook for W10, which is why you can't find any W10 drivers on the support page, and the support assistant comes up empty-handed.
W10 should have installed most of the drivers you need except the SD card reader and the 3D driveguard, for which you can use the W8.1 drivers on your notebook's support page.
Be alert for scammers posting fake support phone numbers and/or email addresses on the community.
