Does the HP dv7 6000 Quad Series laptop have a cmos battery? I am getting a 601 error on startup. The error message notes the storage capacity of the battery stated below is very low; the battery noted is the 601 "primary internal battery."

Does this mean the 10.8 v laptop rechargeable battery or does the computer have a cmos battery? I don't know which battery to replace. Thanks.

Never mind. Immediately after I posted the question several answers came up on the side and I guess the error means the 10.8 laptop battery. I agree that HP should not have used "internal battery" for the error message but simply said "the 10.8 v rechargeable battery." I thought I searched for the answer before but guess I didn't put the right terms nown.

Sorry to bother the community.
